Rush Limbaugh Wants to Know When To Pull Out of the War on Women

| March 7, 2012 | 8 Comments

The definition of insanity? Rush Limbaugh.

Today on his radio show, Limbaugh doubled way, way down on his misogyny mission.

In an attempt at humor, one presumes, Limbaugh questioned what the definition of winning the war on women was and asked, “When do you pull out on the war on women?”

Listen here courtesy of Media Matters:

Rush: By the way, what is the exit strategy for the war on women? I’m just thinking about it. No, you mean, every GOP male candidate defeated, is that what you mean? I’m just wondering, when do you pull out….in the war on women? Definition of victory, how do you define it? What’s the exit strategy?”

I’m really starting to think Mr. Limbaugh doesn’t know the first thing about pulling out because he never gets in a situation where he needs to pull out, so it’s small wonder that he’s confused.

But the way for him to pull out of his misogyny mission that is causing him to bleed advertisers is to shut up. Mr. Limbaugh just needs to zip it for once, but it doesn’t seem he’s capable of self-control. Knowing his problems with drug addiction and other various enhancers, this is hardly shocking.

Rush is either covertly working for the Democratic Party or he’s just a sad, silly fool who can’t see the beginning of his own demise. I’m going with number two, just because I have never seen evidence that Rush Limbaugh is smart enough to pull off a double agent coup.

Rush isn’t going to abort his misogyny mission, oh no. He will, perhaps for once in his life, complete it. Living in a land of denial, Rush told his listeners today, “Everything is fine on the business side. Everything’s cool. There is not a thing to worry about. What you’re seeing on television about this program and sponsors and advertisers is just incorrect.” He, like Sarah Palin, won’t be told when to sit down and shut up, and he won’t apologize! Only losers apologize. Everyone knows that.

A real winner rides the failure all the way to till the end; still believing in their own infallibility and never questioning their chosen course of action. Rush Limbaugh is the epitome of the sort of “leader” conservatives would droll over in the White House; crass, arrogant, brash, vulgar, lacking depth and intelligence, a real gosh-darn bully who speaks to their idea of American exceptionalism. Ain’t we great?

Rush Limbaugh wants help with the definition of victory in the war on women (we presume he meant for the other side, those who support women’s rights)? The definition of victory would include the loss of sponsors for hate aimed at women, specifically an individual woman who dared to speak her mind about the expense of birth control.

That means that we are winning and Rush is losing, even though he won’t admit it to himself. Poor thing. He doesn’t even know when to pull out.

…”Rush told his listeners today, “Everything is fine on the business side. Everything’s cool. There is not a thing to worry about. What you’re seeing on television about this program and sponsors and advertisers is just incorrect.”…

He also said something in the same vein of “So? So what if 48 sponsors have left? It happens everyday in this business…sponsors come and go all the time”…

Just business as usual; dismissing, denying, disorienting his listeners with his “don’t pay any attention to those people behind the curtain”. He’ll say ANYTHING to make his world view seem rational and “cozy”. The problem is, he believes his own bullchit!

We watched “Network” last night, and, someone needs to inform Mr. Limbaugh that he’s “messing with the primal forces” of Clear Channel’s capitalist empire by loosing sponsors and market share.

Can we all get down on bended knee and pray that maybe his “Howard Beale moment” is coming soon?

Limbaugh so reminds me of Andy Griffith as Lonesome Rhodes in the Film, “A Face in the Crowd.” I never tired of watching that movie. Elia Kazan directed a classic that is just as applicable to some media players today as it was in 1957.

Bombastic Rush has Clear Channel behind him 100%! They are aiming at President Obama! Why? Clear Channel is owned by Bain Capital! I helped blow whistle with, Whistleblower dr (tweet) Mon. No wonder Mitt Romney had nothing to say to journalists when asked for his response about Rush’s vitriolic diatribe!

WELCOME BACK SARAH! You all have been most sincerely missed!

Limbaugh’s ego is much too huge to admit to his listening audience that he’s bleeding sponsors left, right, and center. He can take heart, though. A Super PAC that supports Newt Gingrich has agreed to run ads on his show, and Ashley Madison wants to run ads too. This is getting to be too much fun!

If my husband ever solicited sex tapes, NO MATTER WHAT, we’re going to DEFCON 5. Rimbaugh is a hypocrite who doesn’t even know how hormone contraceptives work. He verbally assaults women (my Dad would have paid him a visit)by saying they are sluts but turns around and demands sex tapes of their ‘slutty’ behavior for the pleasure of his and other men’s perusal. Shame women into silence. Who does he REALLY hate? Sorry Retch, even the Dominican Republic prob hates you AND your viagra sex trips….you know his wives do.

  4. Kerrygirlw says:

To all men who love their wives, mothers, daughters, sisters and any female…..those old guys hate you, too. Because you can get it up. Because you’re not held back by having to control another person for love. Dear men who truly respect women, stand with us. Silence can be as deadly as an attack.

Rush’s father should have known more about pulling out. His get is a stinging jellyfish.
